Regulations on the Seminar of the Scientific School "Metal Processing by Pressure" at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine

Official name of the Seminar: Prydniprovsky Scientific Seminar "Metal Processing by Pressure" on the basis of the Department of Metal Pressure Processing named after Academician OP Chekmareva of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. Abbreviated title: Seminar "Metal Processing by Pressure" at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, hereinafter - the Seminar.

2. Mission of the Seminar: Definition and verification of current directions of development of scientific bases of plastic deformation and technological processes of metal processing by pressure.
The
3. Tasks of the seminar:
3.1. Ensuring a high level of scientific discussion on the theory and technology of metal processing.
3.2. Acquaintance of experts and students with tendencies of development of processes of processing of metals by pressure, integrated processes.
3.3. Analysis of modern methodological developments in educational and scientific spheres.
3.4. Approbation and examination of scientific and practical value of research, technological and qualification works, as well as educational and methodical materials prepared for publication and implementation.

4. The seminar is a continuation of the traditions of the "Joint Scientific Seminar of the Department of Metal Pressure Processing of the Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute and Rolling Departments of the Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy", which began its work in the 50s of the twentieth century. The seminar is a democratic scientific and methodological forum in which each participant has the right to ask questions and make constructive criticism.

5. The seminar is organized by the Department of Metal Pressure Processing of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. Ensuring the work of the Seminar is an integral part of the scientific and methodological work of the department. The head of the seminar is the head of the department of metal forming. Co-organizers may be involved in thematic meetings and conferences.

6. The seminar is held in a remote format twice a month on Wednesdays from September 1 to June 30 in accordance with the schedule. Start of work - 10.30.

7. The materials presented at the Seminar, as well as their discussion are open information for the participants of the Seminar. In some cases, the workshop leader may restrict the rights to access and use this information. The report at the seminar is considered to be an approbation of the results of scientific and methodical work of the speaker.

8. The abstract (thesis) of the report is published on the website of the Seminar.

9. To participate in the Seminar you need to register before it starts.
The
10. The following information shall be entered in the minutes of the Seminar: the topic of the report, data on the speaker, the list of participants, the list of participants who asked questions, the list of participants who spoke during the discussion. If necessary, more detailed information may be included in the minutes, including the decision of the Workshop.
